- To undertake planned and responsive electrical / mechanical work either independently or supervised
- To undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the resident group.
- To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools.
- To always operate with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety.
- Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM.
- To maintain asset histories, maintenance records and ensuring all tasks are completed within contractual timescales, informing the administrator or Contract Lead of any follow up action that may be required
- Ability to complete NICEIC documentation
- Full compliance of handheld technology (PDA & Tablet) using RFM’s management system FSI Go
- To take part in an On-Call rota providing 24hr, 365-day cover to the Facilities
- To report all accidents and incidents as per RFM’s Health and Safety Policy
- The post holder will be required to maintain an awareness of RFM's policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service.
- To provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services.

- To carry out any other duties assigned by the Management Team in connection with RFM’s operational requirements (must have an understanding of pumps, motors, and fire dampers)
- The ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach
- Previous maintenance experience working in FM environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work as part of a team and under pressure
- Dedication and ambition to develop within the role
- Computer literate and numerate
- To be capable of multi-tasking
- Experience in electrical power distribution systems/lighting systems and fault finding and installation
- Hold a current valid IPAF / MEWP license
- Ability to cover tasks out with core skill
- C&G 2382-18th Edition
- C&G 2391 or Equivalent
- C&G 2360 pt 1&2 or NVQ Level 3 Multiskilled Mechanical / Electrical (or equivalent)
- Valid UK Driving Licence for at least 12 months
