Contract Type: Full-time / Part-timeAre you a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant looking to support KS2 pupils with special educational needs?GSL Education are seeking a committed SEND KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a school in the Nottingham area from September 2025. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a positive impact on the academic and personal development of children with additional needs.As a SEND KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Provide support for pupils with SEND, ensuring they are fully included in classroom activities.
  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery and adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
  • Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence, and engagement in learning.
  • Help monitor and record pupils’ progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements for SEND KS2 Teaching Assistant:
  • Previous experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a KS2 setting.
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
