Involved in the UK’s highest profile building projects, we have the design and engineering capabilities to deliver the UK’s largest, most complex projects.Acting on behalf of our clients, our project portfolio includes varied sports stadia, innovative bridges, national infrastructure, as well as shaping city skylines across the UK and further afield.We’re looking for Experienced and Apprentice Detailer/CAD Technicians to join our team in Northern Ireland.Experienced candidates:As an experienced Detailer, you will be preparing detailed manufacturing drawings from Engineers designs for structural steel framing and secondary support systems including the production of structural steel layouts and arrangement drawings for erection.Working to industry standards in a 3D modelling environment using the latest Tekla Structures software you will liaise with Architectural and Structural design teams to coordinate detailing requirements for the final assembled structure and produce a level of model data output that will be used for client approval and manufacturing processes.To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience using 3D structural detailing software and knowledge of structural steel design and construction. The ability to multi-task and to be highly organised to manage your time, working on multiple projects is a key part of this position.Apprenticeships:We are also considering Apprentices for this role, where you will work alongside our in-house design and steel detailing teams, using the latest Tekla Structures 3D modelling software. You will receive the training required to develop your CAD skills and job knowledge to a level of proficiency and confidence.The successful candidates must possess a good standard of education with qualifications in maths and literacy.The location is flexible, and the successful candidate can work at Ballinamallard, County Fermanagh or at the Severfield office in Lisburn.
