Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Senior OHA to join their in-house Occupational Health service on a full-time permanent basis at their HQ in Derby.This is an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced and dynamic team where you will undertake a varied remit to include:
  • Undertake and oversee referrals.
  • Lead on clinical advice on requirements for health surveillance, supervising the provision of assessments as required, and advising managers of any additional control measures required.
*Set up a Wellness Clinic.
  • Lead a clinical multidisciplinary team providing supervision, performance management, and mentoring..
  • Ensure that Occupational Health policies and procedures are developed and maintained in line with legislative requirements and clinical best practice.
  • Undertake pre-placement health assessments required for specific roles.
  • Develop and deliver wellbeing campaigns.
To be considered for the role, we are looking for candidates with the following experience:
  • OH Qualification
  • Experience working in a Senior capacity
  • Experience of providing OH & Wellbeing advice to Senior Managers and key stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and resolving complex health management issues at a senior level
Experience of delivering a health surveillance programme with the practical application, interpretation, and analysis of data/ information to make appropriate recommendations
  • Experience of delivering health promotion campaigns, clinical supervision and governance
  • Ability to effectively manage and organise all workloads to optimise service delivery with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent communication with all internal/ external staff at all levels
  • Able to make and justify decisions using initiative and judgement through the analysis of medical information and testing data and know when to escalate for support
  • Possess excellent IT skills including use of Microsoft Office 365 products, databases, and Occupational Health software packages, data analysis, and reporting
  • Be prepared to travel and work throughout the Derbyshire area, hold a full driving license, and use of own vehicle for work purposes.
Salary £58,000 - £61,000 per annum
