Job Category: Photo StudioJob Description:The Senior Set Builder assists in organising and leading the teams workload, building bespoke sets for all of NEXTs fashion shoots whilst managing resources effectively, keeping on top of workshop organisation and equipment maintenance.About This Role:As a Senior Set Builder, you will manage both the team and resources to streamline operations and boost efficiency in the workshop, studios and on location. Your leadership will directly influence the quality and execution of set construction projects, making sure that all technical requirements are met with creativity and precision.Responsibilities:
  • Help lead and manage the set-build team.
  • Plan, allocate and help execute work efficiently to meet shoot deadlines.
  • Shifts own and team priorities smoothly to meet changing shoot demands.
  • Oversee the procurement and management of materials and stock.
  • Maintain tools and machinery, ensuring they are safe and functional.
  • Solve problems and provide expert guidance to enhance team performance.
About You:
  • Proven experience in set building or a similar role, with a strong knowledge and skillset in carpentry.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and resilience under pressure.
  • Adept at multitasking and adjusting to shifting priorities.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
