- Take ownership of a wide range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary matters, performance management, grievances, attendance concerns, and exit processes for involuntary leavers.
- Partner closely with managers and leaders as a go-to expert, providing clear, practical advice that resolves issues effectively and constructively.
- Stay current on employment legislation and HR practices, ensuring guidance is legally sound and aligned with company policies.
- Support strategic HR projects, including TUPE and redundancy processes, using data insights to spot trends and deliver outcomes that are consistent, efficient, and people focused.
- Equip managers with the tools and confidence to lead employee meetings professionally, from preparation through to conclusion.
- Champion a positive employee relations culture by designing and delivering initiatives and training that foster fairness, respect, and consistency across the business.
- Provide additional support across the ER and wider HR team during peak periods and contribute to cross-functional projects.
- Collaborate with the ER Lead to review and manage cases that could involve regulatory or conduct-related risks.
- Solid background in Human Resources with a strong emphasis on employee relations, HR policies and processes, and providing coaching support to managers.
- In-depth understanding of HR procedures, employment legislation, and workforce change processes, including TUPE, mergers & acquisitions, and collective consultation.
- Experience operating within complex, large-scale organisations.
- Trusted to handle sensitive issues with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with the capability to work independently and effectively within a remote/virtual setting.
