Hours: 20Salary: £12.30 to £12.30 HourOverview of the roleThe role of the Domestic Assistant is to undertake a range of cleaning duties to a high standard throughout the home.Key duties
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home, especially within the kitchen and storage areas
  • Ensuring all work surfaces and floor areas are clean and managed
  • Hoovering, washing, polishing etc.in all areas, including the residents' bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas
  • Identifying future regular cleaning and maintenance needs
  • Identifying future resources and equipment needed for the home
  • Operating within all Company policies and procedures
  • Demonstrating our values
  • Getting to know the people we support and enabling them to live a safe, happy and fulfilling life through developing open, honest and considerate relationships

Holly Lodge is a large home with plenty of communal areas for leisure and socialising, including a shared lounge and an activities room. All the bedrooms are en-suite and are currently undergoing some exciting refurbishments. There is also huge garden; including a smaller, secret garden tucked away within it. Those we support at Holly Lodge are a lively and active group. They get involved in a broad range of tailored, individual activities to support ongoing personal development, as well as group pastimes including self-organised arts and crafts, and frequent trips around the New Forest and the nearby beaches. Holly Lodge is staffed on a 24-hour basis and also offers in-house positive behaviour support to help with emotional and general wellbeing.SL000
