Job Title: Skills Trainer Assessor - Electrical DepartmentLocation: Stamford CollegeContract: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week)Salary: £29,400 - £36,059 per annum, plus market rate allowance depending on qualifications and experienceStamford College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Skills Trainer Assessor within the Electrical Department. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and training of the next generation of electrical professionals.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships in the electrical field.
  • Delivering high-quality training and support to apprentices.
  • Conducting assessments in line with awarding body standards.
  • Providing constructive feedback to learners to aid their development.
  • Monitoring progress and tracking achievement of apprentices.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the apprenticeship program.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, or CAVA).
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the electrical sector.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
