- To promote the relationship between the Club and potential and existing Members for which the Syndicate is responsible.
- To handle all underwriting matters within assigned areas as directed in accordance with company procedures.
- To identify the need for loss prevention activity.
- To provide cover in absence of Syndicate Manager.
- To assist in ensuring consistency of underwriting handling across Syndicate teams in relation to allocated issues.
- To contribute to the continuous development and improvement of company procedures and systems.
- To delegate appropriate work to Syndicate assistants and executives.
- To take on any other responsibilities or tasks that are within the scope of personal skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.
- To attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
- A minimum of five years P&I experience with a P&I Club or P&I broker.
- Ability to undertake tasks independently.
- Intermediate level Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A good eye for detail and accuracy.
- Organised and methodical.
- Good people skills and communication style.
- Team player.
