Start Date: September 2025Are you passionate about education and enjoy working with young people?Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a secondary school in Walsall to recruit an enthusiastic and dependable English Cover Supervisor. This full-time role involves supporting students’ learning in English lessons and helping maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school setting.Key Responsibilities:Supporting students with their English work to ensure they stay focused and engagedAssisting with delivering pre-prepared lesson activities provided by the teaching teamMaintaining classroom discipline and fostering a positive learning atmosphereHelping students with any questions or difficulties related to the lesson contentSupporting the English department with administrative and organisational tasks when requiredReporting any behavioural or learning concerns to teaching staff promptlyWho we’re looking for:Experience working in a school or educational setting, ideally with secondary-aged studentsStrong communication and organisational skillsReliable, proactive and able to support a positive classroom environment effectivelyA genuine interest in supporting young people’s education and wellbeingBasic knowledge of the English curriculum (desirable but not essential)A flexible and positive attitude to supporting the school’s needsImportant Details:Full-time, term-time only positionBased at a secondary school in WalsallStart date: September 2025If you are interested in this position please apply below with your most up-to-date CV.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
