Salary: £88.94 - £104.84 per day (Depending on Experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day/ Long Term, Full time / Part timeAre you looking to build a rewarding career supporting children in their learning journey?GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Scunthorpe, providing vital support to pupils from EYFS through to KS2.As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with class teachers to ensure pupils receive the best possible educational experience. You will support both whole-class learning and individual needs, creating a positive and inclusive environment that helps every child thrive academically and socially.Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant:
  • Provide classroom support to pupils across EYFS – KS2.
  • Deliver 1:1 or small group interventions to reinforce learning.
  • Assist in preparing teaching resources and classroom activities.
  • Encourage pupil participation and promote positive behaviour.
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Help maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant (TA):
  • Experience supporting children in EYFS – KS2.
  • CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualification (desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning.
  • A genuine passion for helping children succeed in education.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
