- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Cash Flow & Profitability: Monitor cash flow and ensure profitability targets are met.
- Financial Strategy: Develop financial plans to support business growth.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and manage budgets aligned with company objectives.
- Risk Management, Identify and mitigate financial risks
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee transactions and ensure timely payments.
- Tax & Compliance: Ensure VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax compliance.
- Financial Reporting: Provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounts team, ensuring high performance.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure adherence to UK financial laws and company policies.
- Collaboration with MMM GmbH: Align financial strategies and reporting with the parent company.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in financial operations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACA/ACCA/CIMA preferred.
- Experience: 5-10 years in financial management and accounting, preferably within a £10M+ turnover business.
- Technical Skills:
- Sage 200 platform experience – Essential.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Accounting knowledge, deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Problem solving skills, ability to identify and solve financial problems.
- Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, and excellent communication.
