Carriera is partnering with one of the UK's top 50 consultancies to secure a chartered building surveyor for their Manchester office.About the CompanyThis consultancy provides building consultancy and property management advice nationwide, serving a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, including institutions, pension funds, insurance companies, and property managers. The position has opened due to sustained and consistent growth.The OpportunityAs a chartered building surveyor, you will manage a wide range of building surveying tasks across various properties, including office, retail, and industrial spaces. Your workload will be balanced between project and professional services. You will act as a contract administrator on projects typically valued up to £10 million. Your professional services duties will include defect diagnosis, dilapidations, due diligence, and pre-acquisition surveys.About YouThe successful candidate will be RICS qualified with experience in a consultancy or private practice. You should be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage your own projects.
