Procurement Engineer x 2 (Bridgwater Office, Bristol Offices, Site Office and Home, some travel)Job PurposeThe Procurement Engineer Associate will support the Procurement Engineers in making sure the spares, consumables and materials required to support the HPC commissioning and maintenance programs are delivered to the right quality at the right time with an overriding focus on nuclear safety.You will work closely with various departments across the HPC project including Pre-Operations, Commissioning and Installation.You will be supported and have access to the necessary training and technical documentation required to fulfil your rolePrincipal Accountabilities- Taking ownership for the delivery of key elements of the Procurement Engineering Strategy
- Manage emergent issues in support of the delivery of the Procurement Engineering Strategy
- Using the Digital Tools to perform technical evaluations of plant spares
- Supporting the operational spares catalogue production by:o Creating catalogue identifiers
o Applying quality assurance grades to catalogue deliverables.
o Quality reviews of the catalogue deliverables.- Involved with and providing input into the development of the Digital Tools
- Supporting the quality control inspections of operational spares.
- Creation of operational process documents for procurement engineering/Spares ManagementKnowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience- A proactive analytical thinker with an ability to work with minimal supervision and on their own initiative.
