Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Assistant (Supply)Location: NottinghamStart Date: ImmediateSalary: £13.69 per hourAre you approachable, understanding and reassuring towards young children?Can you proactively support children with a wide range of needs?Can you encourage happy and enthusiastic children to enable them to learn?TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-established and friendly day nursery based in Nottingham who are looking to take on a supply Level 3 Qualified Nursery Assistant who is enthusiastic about working with children and helping them develop their learning.The successful applicant will help children to learn numeracy and language skills through games, singing and storytelling as well as record children's development and share with parents, carers and other staff.The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
  • Level 3 in Childcare/Early years (required)
  • Extensive experience supporting children in a nursery or early years setting
  • First Aid Qualification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of the EYFS
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • An awareness of child protection and safeguarding
  • A kind and caring approach to each child
  • Reliable and flexible
