- Lead the design and delivery of a comprehensive Adult Social Care Workforce Development Strategy, aligned with national policy and local transformation goals.
- Oversee workforce data collection and analysis to identify skills gaps and assess workforce needs across all sectors.
- Shape a local recruitment and retention strategy tailored to market conditions, promoting long-term workforce sustainability.
- Establish an inclusive framework for workforce development, including qualifications, continuous training, and access to leadership and career pathways.
- Proven experience in leading workforce strategy in social care or health sectors.
- Strong project and programme management capabilities.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement across multi-agency environments.
- Deep understanding of adult social care challenges, particularly workforce pressures.
- Analytical and data-led approach to workforce planning.
- Experience advising at senior leadership and political levels.
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
