If so, we would love to hear from you.Herm Ward at Alderney Hospital is a specialist female older people's mental health ward providing high quality, person-centred care for individuals experiencing dementia , behavioural and psychological symptoms associated with mental health conditions. We are currently recruiting Nurses who are passionate about delivering excellent care as part of a supportive and dynamic team.We are seeking individuals with experience in a mental health setting who can provide confident shift leadership, work collaboratively with colleagues, and bring strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills. Come and be part of something truly meaningful.Main duties of the jobTo provide a high quality person centred approach to caredelivery which always considers people's safety, privacy and dignity.To undertake assessment of patients / service users careneeds, and develop programmes of care as part of thewider multi-disciplinary care team.To provide advice to patients/ service users and carersregarding their care.To plan, implement and review health improvementprogrammes in a range of settings.Provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical support tostudents and junior staff in the team.Applications from candidates that require current Skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
