- Nuclear primary components, including the reactor core
- Secondary propulsion components
- In-service support and maintenance
- Special purpose tools and equipment
- Future product
- Create solutions and justifications that are robust against variation, taking account the full life cycle (concept, design, manufacture, operation, and disposal).
- Integrate cross-discipline engineering concepts which include manufacturing engineering, simulation, materials, testing, and supply chain.
- Document and verify information against sound mechanical engineering practices and references.
- Present evidence at technical reviews in front of peers and expert panels.
- Publish safety and technical reports which are subjected to customer and regulatory scrutiny.
- Ideally, you will have experience in one of the above disciplines, but this does not need to be limited to Submarines.
- It is preferable that you are Degree Qualified or Apprentice Trained in a relevant engineering discipline, however this is not essential as experience is equally beneficial.
- External Skills/Experience can be from industries such as Civil Nuclear, Marine, Petro-Chemical and Oil & Gas.
