An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented and organised Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen brigade at one of London's most exclusive Private Members Clubs. This is a unique daytime role focused on breakfast, staff dining, and a very high-end brasserie service - ideal for a chef looking for a fantastic work-life balance while still operating in a premium culinary environment.The Role:Working closely with the Head Chef and senior team, you will take the lead on breakfast, brasserie service, and daily staff meals. This is a hands-on, structured role in a high-end, well-run kitchen with an emphasis on consistency, quality and professionalism.Key Details:
  • Salary: £42,000 + Minimum £1,000 Tips
  • Working Hours: Tuesday-Saturday | 7:30am - 3:50pm
  • 23 Days’ Holiday + Birthday Off + All Bank Holidays Off
  • Club closes for 2 weeks in August and 2 weeks over Christmas/New Year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee breakfast, brasserie and staff dining services
  • Deliver consistent food quality across all services to their standards
  • Support menu development and maintain high kitchen standards
  • Ensure mise en place, portion control, and stock rotation are properly managed
  • Lead by example in hygiene, cleanliness, and section organisation
  • Provide coaching and hands-on training to junior chefs
  • Collaborate with senior chefs on rotas, planning, and kitchen improvements
  • Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere within the brigade
About You:
  • Proven experience as a strong CDP or Junior Sous Chef in a premium kitchen
  • Confident running multiple sections with minimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of classical techniques and modern brasserie-style food
  • A calm, organised and proactive approach to service
  • Experience with breakfast or multi-outlet prep is a plus
  • Excellent personal presentation and professional kitchen etiquette
  • A genuine team player with leadership potential and great communication skills
