This senior delivery role is essential in supporting London's positioning as the premier choice for hosting this globally significant LGBTQ+ event. You will implement the strategic vision, support high-level partnerships, and manage key components of the bid process, contributing significantly to shaping the future of Pride celebrations worldwide.Your Responsibilities:Support the steering group in implementing strategic objectives and maintaining the highest standards throughout the development processLead the creation of a comprehensive Bid Book for InterPride that effectively showcases London's vision, capabilities, and commitment to hosting World Pride 2030, ensuring compliance with all InterPride bidding requirements and guidelines * Research and document London's unique strengths, specifically highlighting:Success in delivering Pride in London as a world-class LGBTQ+ celebrationProven operational excellence in Pride event management and growthWider infrastructure capabilities and event delivery expertiseLGBTQ+ cultural significance and community legacyTrack record in delivering major international eventsManage the development of comprehensive event delivery plans encompassing all operational aspects including event programming, venue strategies, crowd management, transportation, security, emergency response, volunteer management and technical requirementsDefine and track measurable outcomes for the bid process, ensuring accountability and demonstrating impact on LGBTQ+ rights and visibility globallyMaintain and develop working relationships with key stakeholders to gather essential information and secure necessary commitments for the bid bookImplement community engagement strategy including functional process to engage and bring LGBTQ+ communities with themSupport budget development and monitor financial projections to demonstrate financial viabilityContribute to sustainability and accessibility frameworks that will strengthen London's bid positionIdentify and assess potential risks and challenges, developing appropriate mitigation strategies for inclusion in the bid bookManage detailed timeline and milestone planning for event deliverySupport identification of potential corporate partners and sponsorship opportunities to demonstrate financial sustainabilityCoordinate compilation of supporting documentation including letters of support, venue commitments, and infrastructure assessmentsSupport new ideas and technology in the bid, including sustainable and accessible approachesWhat You'll Bring to the Role:Solid experience managing complex projects with international elements, with strong project management and execution skillsGood understanding of global LGBTQ+ issues and the international pride movement, with cultural competence and demonstrated passion for LGBTQ+ rightsStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working with senior stakeholders and supporting negotiationsStrategic thinking with the ability to implement plans effectively and engage diverse audiencesExperience supporting fundraising activities and sponsor relationship managementCreative mindset with enthusiasm for integrating cutting-edge technologies and sustainability initiativesResilience and adaptability, with proven ability to perform well under pressure in demanding environmentsEmotional intelligence and empathy, with demonstrated ability to connect with diverse stakeholdersStrong project management methodologies and tools proficiencyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOur Commitment to InclusionWe value diverse experiences and perspectives.
