Location: Chester-le-Street
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8.30am–5pm & Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm.
Dates: 8th September – 19th September (may be extended)Role PurposeTo provide excellent customer service by booking vehicles in and out, arranging courtesy cars, and ensuring customers receive efficient, professional support at all times.Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally and handle enquiries by phone and in person.
- Book vehicles for repair, prepare job cards, and keep accurate records.
- Provide regular updates to customers on progress.
- Arrange courtesy cars and complete required paperwork.
- Take payments and follow correct banking procedures.
- Keep the filing system and management system (Autoflow) accurate and up to date.
- Handle customer complaints politely and follow company procedures.
- Maintain a tidy and professional reception area.
- Adhere to GDPR, Health & Safety, and company policies.
- Previous experience in customer service (automotive experience an advantage).
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- IT literate with good organisational skills.
- Positive, professional, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Must be available to start on 8th September.
