- Experience or interest in working with pupils with ASD, SEMH and additional learning needs
- A creative, empathetic approach to teaching and classroom management
- Confidence in teaching across a range of secondary curriculum subjects
- Strong communication skills and commitment to holistic education
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons based on individual needs and EHCPs
- Monitor and assess student progress, using school systems and contributing to reports
- Support pupils’ personal development and social skills alongside academic outcomes
- Work closely with families, therapists and external agencies
- Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement plans
