Stanton Surgery, located in Bury St Edmunds are currently recruiting a reception manager/team lead to join their busy team,hours to be agreed. Our core opening hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-18:30, 19.00 on a Monday.We are looking for someone to lead our busy reception team and who will strive to ensure our patients receive the best possible service from the practice. You will deal with patients both face to face, over the telephone and via email.Main duties of the job
  • Lead our large reception team to ensure an efficient working environment.
  • Co-ordinate between the reception team, patients, the management team and partners.
  • Carry out reception team appraisals.
  • Assist with the arranging of flu/covid clinics.
  • Data entry of new and temporary registrations and relevant patient information as required.
  • Create and maintain clinical and reception rotas and ensure management are aware of any issues.
  • Manage reception sickness.
  • Input data into the patients' healthcare records as necessary.
  • Initiate contact with and responding to, requests from patients, team members and external agencies.
  • Signpost patients to the correct service.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately.
