Shift: Monday to Friday, alternating weekly shifts 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00
Hours: 40 hours per week plus alternate Saturdays 06:00–12:00 (overtime paid)

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Fitter to join a busy and well-established workshop in Lutterworth. This permanent role offers excellent pay, structured training, and the chance to work on a wide range of commercial vehicles and trailers in a professional and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on HGVs and trailers
Diagnose faults and perform mechanical repairs efficiently
Attend roadside breakdowns and on-site customer repairs
Ensure high standards of safety, cleanliness, and care of vehicles
Work with the parts team to order necessary components
Complete job cards, service sheets, and documentation accurately
Follow all health and safety regulations in the workshopSkills and Qualifications:Essential:
Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent experience)
Full UK driving licence
Proven experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Awareness of health and safety regulationsDesirable:
IRTEC inspection licence
ADR certification
Experience in dealersh
