A great opportunity to join a warm, lively family in Hampstead with a generous salary and a supportive, welcoming environment.Job Summary:This family is seeking a dedicated and friendly nanny. They highly value a tidy environment and are looking for someone to support them in keeping everything in order. The role involves general nannying support and mother’s help, especially with a new baby due in September. The family has three young children-almost 7, just turned 4, and nearly 2 years old-and is hoping to find someone who can start as soon as possible. While they already have a full-time housekeeper, they need an extra pair of hands for tasks such as organizing the playroom, assisting with the children, and helping with the newborn. The ideal candidate will be someone who can become part of the family.Working hours are from 7am-9am and 3pm-6:30pm or just 3pm-6:30pm. The nanny must be a confident driver (a car is provided), and it's essential that if they can cook fresh, healthy meals. Experience or knowledge in supporting early learning, such as reading, schoolwork, and phonics, is also highly desired. Efficiency, strong English skills, and the ability to work independently are essential. They also have two very friendly medium-sized dogs, so being comfortable with pets is important.General Duties:
  • Provide comprehensive care for the children, including all daily nanny responsibilities.
  • Support and follow the child's daily routine, ensuring their needs are met consistently.
  • Perform nursery duties, such as keeping play areas and the children's bedroom tidy and organized, as well as handling laundry.
  • Plan and organize engaging activities and outings to support the child’s developmental milestones.
  • Help the children reach important developmental milestones and provide appropriate guidance.
  • Create a warm, loving, and nurturing atmosphere for the children to thrive in.
  • Nursery and school pick-ups.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proficient in English
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in private households.
  • A nurturing, caring, and friendly demeanour, with a genuine passion for childcare.
  • Proven experience working with children of a similar age, with a solid understanding of supporting various developmental milestones.
  • Strong recent experience working with babies, demonstrating expertise in managing their needs.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and professional, and confidential with a proactive approach to childcare.
  • Childcare qualifications, including current first aid certification.
  • Need to have a driver's licence
  • Car available
