Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality subject-specific teaching to KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 students
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Collaborate with department colleagues and support the wider school ethos
  • Track student progress and provide effective feedback
  • Develop and refine your teaching practice with mentoring support
Person Specification:Essential:
  • Completing or completed secondary teacher training with QTS by September 2025
  • Strong subject knowledge and relevant degree
  • Understanding of national curriculum and secondary assessment frameworks
  • Effective classroom management and organizational skills
  • Commitment to inclusive and impactful teaching
Desirable:
  • Experience from school placements or other educational settings
  • Familiarity with GCSE/A-Level exam boards in your subject
  • Eagerness to contribute to extra-curricular activities and whole-school initiatives
