Tenancy Sustainment Officer / Service CoordinatorBlackburnTemporary - ongoing until March 202637.5 hours per week£15.00 - £16.00 per hourOur clientMorgan Hunt is working with an organisation who provide specialist housing and support services to vulnerable people including asylum seekers, ex-offenders, expectant and new mums, people with mental health issues, recovering addicts, survivors of domestic abuse, those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless and young people leaving care.We are looking to recruit a Tenancy Sustainment Officer / Service Coordinator for a service in Blackburn. The service comprises units of self-contained accommodation and supports medium - high risk, vulnerable people. Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm and this is an ongoing temporary contract until March 2026.The role - Tenancy Sustainment Officer / Service CoordinatorAs a Tenancy Sustainment Officer / Service Coordinator you are responsible for.
  • Maintaining a consistently high level of customer service that enhances the quality of life for tenants by providing safe, secure, and attractive environments, creating sustainable communities.
  • Delivering the housing management functions of the business.
  • Rent collection and arrears management.
  • Void management including allocation and sign ups.
  • Health and safety / compliance management.
  • Signposting clients to organisations within the community for additional support.
  • Develop independent living skills to encourage individuals to sustain a tenancy long term.
  • Ensure individuals have access to the correct benefit entitlement where required.
  • Complete risk assessments and personalised support plans to enable positive outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in relation to each client.
The candidateA successful Tenancy Sustainment Officer / Service Coordinator will have experience in working with vulnerable clients and supporting people to maintain a tenancy through delivery of intensive housing management functions and customer service.
