- Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities to promote children's learning and development
- Ensure a safe, stimulating, and secure environment where children can explore and learn
- Support children with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and nap routines
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication
- Observe and document children's progress, highlighting achievements and areas for further development
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a warm, inclusive, and welcoming nursery environment
- Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety policies and procedures
- Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is preferred
- Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Paediatric First Aid certification is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth
