- Servicing and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, and engine servicing, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and industry standards.
- Diagnostic Expertise: Utilise state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues efficiently.
- MOT Testing: Perform MOT tests in compliance with DVSA regulations, ensuring vehicles meet safety and environmental standards.
- Bespoke Upgrades and Conversions: Execute custom modifications, such as performance enhancements, suspension upgrades, and aesthetic improvements, tailored to customer specifications.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with a skilled team of technicians, sharing expertise and ensuring all jobs are completed to the highest quality and within agreed timelines.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues, recommend solutions, and ensure complete satisfaction with the service provided.
- Workshop Efficiency: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Qualifications: A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. A valid MOT Tester certification (Class 4 and 7) is highly desirable.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a strong background in diagnostics, repairs, and servicing across a range of vehicle makes and models.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic tools and software, with a solid understanding of modern vehicle systems, including hybrid and electric vehicles.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Team Player: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive workshop environment.
- Customer Focus: A professional and approachable demeanour, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers.
- Driving License: A full UK driving license is essential.
