Berry Recruitment are looking for a Cleansing Operative with a driving license to start ASAP in Southampton for a local authority.Purpose of the role is to provide flexible and responsive support to both the Neighbourhood Warden and Cleaning teams in maintaining clean, safe and welcoming community environments.Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to requests from Senior Neighbourhood Wardens and Cleaning Supervisors to assist with operational tasks.
  • Support Neighbourhood Wardens with physical duties, including the removal and disposal of waste items at designated facilities.
  • Assist the Cleaning Team with responsive cleaning tasks and catch-up work to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Provide cover for cleaning staff during periods of absence to ensure continuity of service.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to uphold the clients commitment to community well being and environmental care.
The job can involve heavy lifting and can can be physical. Must have a clean driving license and experience driving 3.5t vehicles.Hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00.
