Contract Type: Daily Supply, Long-TermDo you have the enthusiasm and expertise to deliver high-quality science education?GSL Education are currently seeking an engaging and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a dynamic school inNewcastle.You will be responsible for delivering inspiring lessons in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics, adapting your teaching to meet the varying needs of pupils. This role provides a platform for you to combine academic rigour with creativity to ignite students' curiosity and passion for science.Your Main Responsibilities:
  • Teach exciting and engaging Science lessons to students in any Key Stages.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Maintain excellent behaviour and classroom management standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive departmental improvement.
  • Contribute to the wider school ethos and extracurricular science activities.
What We’re Looking For:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
  • A degree in a Science-related subject.
  • Proven experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education).
  • A commitment to safeguarding and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
