
Entry Level Technician: Regulated Waste Disposal

- Packages expired chemicals for shipment or disposal.
- Empties satellite containers into bulk containers and takes back to laboratory for reuse.
- Maintains chemical storage area to keep it clutter-free and free of fire hazards.
- Ships hazardous waste from the laboratory prior to the RCRA time limit for the facility.
- Tracks volume of waste generated for reporting to corporate and EPA.
- Prepares and tracks implementation of Waste Minimization Plan.
- Orders and maintains chemical inventory for the laboratory.
- Manages consignment room to keep all laboratory areas supplied.
- Provides assistance to other departments/areas as needed.
- Employee would start as a Technician, and be expected to complete RCRA and DOT/IATA training and certification, paid for by Eurofins, within the first 90 days.
- Upon completion of training and certification, contingent on good performance, the employee will receive a commensurate pay increase.

- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer, indefinitely, without restriction or sponsorship
- Ability to work in Lancaster, PA Monday - Friday 8a-4p
- Ability to complete RCRA and DOT/IATA training and certification, paid for by Eurofins, within the first 90 days.
