Protocol Education is working with a well-established specialist provision in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, to recruit a passionate and experienced KS2 Teacher with a strong background in SEND and SEMH.This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable young people aged 8–18. The school offers a nurturing, therapeutic environment where pupils are supported to overcome barriers to learning and achieve both personal and academic growth.About the Role:Plan and deliver high-quality, personalised lessons across core subjects, including English, Maths, and ScienceSupport individual learning through tailored Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)Contribute to EHCP reviews, PEP meetings, and progress trackingPromote a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environmentWork collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionalsUphold safeguarding and wellbeing as a key priorityRole Details:Location: Shrewsbury, ShropshireSalary: £31,443 – £41,138 (dependent on experience and qualifications)Contract: Full-time, permanentStart Date: ASAP or negotiable for the right candidateWhat We’re Looking For:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degreeExperience teaching Key Stage 2 across a range of subjectsStrong knowledge of SEND and SEMH approachesConfident in behaviour management and inclusive teaching strategiesFamiliarity with assessment frameworks and progress monitoringA positive, resilient, and child-centred approachDesirable:A qualification in psychology or a higher-level degree
