It’s about helping children navigate the emotional ups and downs of school life, encouraging them when things feel tough, and celebrating their successes, no matter how small. You’ll be part of a team that believes pastoral care is just as important as academic learning—because a child who feels safe, valued, and supported is a child who can achieve.What you’ll be doing:Providing consistent, one-to-one pastoral support for pupils with emotional, social, and behavioural needsBuilding trusting relationships with children who may find it difficult to engage with othersHelping pupils develop resilience, confidence, and positive routines both in and out of the classroomWorking closely with teachers, families, and external agencies to shape individual support plansCelebrating small steps of progress and helping pupils feel part of their school communityWe’re looking for someone who brings aspiration, integrity, kindness, and resilience into everything they do.
