Job Description:Are you an enthusiastic Hygiene operative with a passion for food who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have an exciting new opportunity to join our Hygiene team at our Leeming Bar Site.The position is Full time, permanent, working 21:00 – 06:00, Mon to FridaysWorking within an established team, you will have an opportunity to build upon your existing skills and continuous personal development.This role is to ensure that production areas are cleaned to the highest possible standard. To carry out the thorough cleaning of the production and storage areas as per instruction by the Supervisor. Chemical and Job training will be provided.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures for completion of tasks within the Enabling Team
  • Chemical wash down of machinery and equipment, adhering to safe systems of working
  • Report non conformances to your Supervisor immediately and escalate to manager where appropriate
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness and GMP within the factory
  • Dismantling, deep cleaning and re assembly of machinery in the factory
  • Following set schedules to ensue effectiveness of cleaning is maintained
· Visual line and equipment checking to maintain standards required
  • Manual work which may also involve the use of ladders where appropriate
  • Takes part in Continuous Improvement activities and contribute suggestions to improve line performance
  • Comply with all company procedures and codes of practice to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace
  • Ensure Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and any issues or near misses are reported accordingly
  • Maintain a clean as you go area and demonstrate good manufacturing processes
· Maintain line standards taking accountability for your actions
