In this role, you will support pupils in their learning and development, helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
  • Provide support to pupils in the classroom, both individually and in small groups.
  • Assist with the delivery of learning activities and interventions.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.
  • Work closely with teachers to ensure pupils’ learning needs are met.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment.
Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude in supporting pupils.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
