- Lead the development and implementation of a refreshed HSE strategy and improvement plan.
- Drive engagement with employees and senior stakeholders to build a strong safety-first culture.
- Review and modernise existing HSE policies, procedures, and systems in line with legislative and ISO standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations-ensuring effective root cause analysis and follow-through.
- Coordinate training and upskilling to empower teams with best practices in HSE.
- Lead initiatives to proactively manage environmental risks and responsibilities.
- Act as the key contact for HSE matters, providing expert advice and support to all levels of the business.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum); working towards or willing to gain NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 5 qualification).
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and practical implementation experience.
- Proven ability to engage, influence and support stakeholders at all levels.

- Previous experience within an FMCG, logistics, warehousing or multi-site environment is beneficial.
- Confidence to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
- Experience with ISO management systems and internal/external audits.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
