- Hand feeding tools as required
- Inspecting parts during production using various types of gaging devices such as comparators, hand mikes, plug and depth gages
- Making machine and tooling adjustments necessary to maintain print specifications
- Resharpening and replacing tools, raking chips, sanding faces, adding coolant
- Utilizing various industrial tools and being responsible for the set up and operation of Manual Machining Equipment in tight tolerances
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area and performing a variety of duties including grinding, de-burring, cleaning of parts, cutting and removal of scrap
- Calibrating and operating a manual lathe machine or grinder, which is used to cut, sand, knurl, drill, face, and turn materials
