Production Line Supervisor - Castle ValeThe CompanyWe are proud to be working with a manufacturing company that specialise in the production of timber frame panels for the Domestic and Commercial Construction Industry. Their focus is ensuring quality standards are met with their products and customer satisfaction is exceeded at all times.The RoleAs the Production Line Supervisor, you will be responsible for consistently managing resources to achieve company targets as well as assisting your manager with delivering products to the correct quality, cost and execution. You will have a good understanding of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) system, carry out work safely in accordance with EHS procedures.You will be required to take appropriate steps to counter the effects of absenteeism, ensuring staff are motivated and well prepared each shift. Flexibility would be required as you would need to have the ability to supervise a team in any area of the factory as well as holding investigations & conducting disciplinary interviews.Being proactive in seeking problems / potential problems in quality, process etc and taking appropriate steps to mitigate the risk. Using this skill to look for opportunities to improve productivity as well as quality, have a full understanding of quality requirements and carry the ability to implement change.The PersonA minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environmentExcellent communication skills at all levels across the businessBe able to prioritise workload and make decisions effectivelyComputer literate - be comfortable using spreadsheets and carrying out data analysisAPPLY NOWINDPERMS
