With 30 offices across 14 countries, Fortil fosters entrepreneurial freedom and the empowerment of individual potential.YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITESAs part of the development of our activities in the UK, we are looking for a SCADA Commissioning Technician (M/F).Reporting to the Commissioning Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Commission and configure SCADA systems on offshore substations
  • Perform functional and integration testing of SCADA hardware/software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA system faults during commissioning
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning reports and documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and clients offshore/onshore
  • Adhere to offshore health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Inspect and support installation of SCADA equipment and instrumentation
YOUR PROFILE & PERSONALITYYou hold a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or related technical field and have at least 6 years of experience in a similar role. Also, should have valid GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certification and BOSIET or equivalent offshore safety training is a plus.You have a strong interest in control systems and offshore engineering.
