Qualification: Level 2 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) - requiredWe are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified nursery assistant to join a team in Oxford. This is a full-time position in a well-established, supportive nursery setting.The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and caring nursery assistant who holds a Level 2 Early Years qualification (or equivalent). You should be passionate about working with young children and committed to providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team in delivering age-appropriate learning activities
- Assist in the care and supervision of children throughout the day
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment
- Work closely with colleagues and support the daily running of the room
- Build strong and positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
- Level 2+ qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a nursery assistant (desirable but not essential)
- A caring and responsible approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- An understanding of safeguarding and basic health & safety
