After an initial induction and training programme your professional development will continue with ongoing training and mentoring to enable you to fulfill your potential.You will be committed, honest, friendly, reliable, and respectful. In addition to these Outstanding qualities, we need you to be proactive and have a flexible approach to your work, including a willingness to work at least alternate weekends. You must be able to drive and have access to a car. In particular, we would welcome applications from those with experience working as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, Care Worker, or Home Care Assistant or with experience working in domiciliary care or care homes or residential homes.Job DescriptionYour role as a Team Leader could include (but are not limited to):
  • Complete and Record support visits for our Care Professionals, new and existing.
  • Complete Care Professional care certificate and observations to required standards
  • Meet required Care Professional competency assessments
  • Complete Daily Audits of Visit Notes on our company systems
  • Participate in on call services one weekend in four
  • Regular meetings with Care Manager (Head of People) to prioritise workload
  • Ensure Confidentiality and GDPR policies are adhered to and escalate concerns
  • Work towards QCF level 2/3
Care Professional Support
  • Meet new Care Professionals at Training
  • Brief / Support new Care Professionals regarding Client Care Plans & Needs
  • Introduce new Care Professionals to Clients
  • Shadow and support Care Professionals
Client Support
  • Develop positive relationships with all Clients when supporting Care Professionals
  • Deliver Ad Hoc care, sometimes including out of hours, as required by the business
In the field:
  • At the visit - establish are they providing Outstanding care?
  • Always compliment and provide positive encouragement to staff where possible
  • Is the care Safe, Caring, Responsive, Effective and Well organized?
  • Is the Care Professional satisfied with their role?
Incentives:
  • £150 for each new Care Professional you introduce through networking following training
  • Discretionary bonus in line with Outstanding compliance and performance against overall business plan
  • Salary Review at Key Milestones or as responsibilities increase
