The role will be based in the LSE Executive Office, reporting into the Deputy Chief Operating Officer, but will work widely across the organisation. This is a fixed term role, with potential for extension, and is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of our diverse community, including students, staff, and visitors.The successful candidate will lead the development, implementation, and review of safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with UK legal and regulatory frameworks.Candidates should have:
  • Professional certification or training in safeguarding, compliance, or related areas.
  • Proven experience in reviewing/developing and implementing safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with relevant UK legal and regulatory safeguarding frameworks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders across the School demonstrating a consultative and proactive approach.
