- Establish a clear season-long marketing and communications activation plan that aligns to key FA campaigns and strategic priority areas for the women's and girls' game.
- Build the reputation of the WNL brand through accurate communication and high quality output across all channels.
- Deliver a communications plan which scopes opportunities to raise the profile of the WNL and its member clubs and promotes the FA WNL's strategic objectives outlined in Where Our Game Grows
- Manage the relationship between the FA WNL and key external stakeholders such as agencies and suppliers
- Provide support and training to clubs on how to boost their own profile within their communities and use this to drive financial sustainability.
- Play a key role in the delivery of FA WNL events across the season, including Cup Finals and the FA WNL Awards
- Maintain and enhance the FA WNL Archive to celebrate the unique values and rich history of the WNL
- Act as brand guardian and ensure correct and consistent implementation of the WNL brand across internal and external executions and touchpoints.
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Communications and Corporate Affairs (MCC) division to ensure the FA WNL is integrated into wider FA campaigns
- Take ownership of live issues and direct media enquiries about the FA WNL, working closely with the FA's Media Relations team and the Women's and Girls' Game Communications team
- Executes additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained.
- As part of the FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.
- Excellent knowledge of women's football.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and across The FA.
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to write to a deadline.
- Ability to write marketing plans to support KPIs and can deliver to a high standard.
- An understanding of diversity and inclusion, with a passion for equality and representing the game of football for all.
- Takes a logical and creative approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communicator with a positive, collaborative and flexible style.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, delivering work to deadlines and honouring commitments.
- Insight led in decision-making.
- Excellent written English and proofreading skills, with a strong eye for detail.
- Ability to champion brand guidelines and be a point of contact across their areas of work.
- Experience of working in women's football
- Experience working at/with or managing a range of agencies and vendors.
- Experience dealing with media, ideally within sport.
- Familiarity with multi-channel marketing and platforms, including digital, email, social media, OOH, and content marketing.
- Understanding of social media and new media platforms.
- Experience in event delivery.
