CNC Press Brake OperatorWe are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our clients dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and programming CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications and drawings. This position requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC press brake machines, with a preference for experience with Ermaksan and Pearson machines
  • Program CNC press brakes using CAD/CAM software and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Set up machines for each job, including selecting and installing appropriate tools and dies
  • Adjust machine parameters such as pressure, speed, and angle to achieve desired results
  • Perform quality control checks on finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or production processes
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise production efficiency
  • Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Press Brake Operator
  • Proficiency in programming CNC press brakes from technical drawings and blueprints
  • Experience with Ermaksan and Pearson machines is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques and processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
  • Excellent mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC programming languages
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and inspection techniques
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
