- Lead the definition and creation of innovative digital services for customers
- Provide technical guidance to our customers and to internal teams as we work together building digital and AI centred services to meet the challenges of the next decade
- Deliver transformation of IT practices to exploit modern best practices such as DevOps, DevSecOps, automation agents and generative AI
- Define strategies to migrate, modernise and transform legacy systems onto modern architectures
- To provide technical, sectoral and design leadership to a highly skilled and motivated expert technical team
- To work with customer senior management and technology leaders assisting as they make critical decisions on technical direction
- Lead business analysts and end-users to elicit requirements & assist in developing design specifications for short-, medium- and long-term future state architectures
- Developing effective logical, conceptual, and physical designs in conjunction with the wider IT development and support team
- Perform enterprise technology assessments to help identify risks, issues and opportunities
- Assessing customer application estates and defining future roadmaps including cloud migration, modernisation, AI adoption and transformation
- Designing digital solutions with awareness of relevant standards and industry best practices
- To be part of a motivated and dynamic advisory team with strong core values that seek to drive the customer's success
- Identify opportunities to add value to the customer in the management and delivery of its IT landscape
- Evaluating and recommending external products and services that may meet the customer's requirements
- Identifying technology trends through an awareness of industry innovation, sectoral and geo-political factors
- Supporting business development teams in shaping opportunities and defining solutions for new customers, including responding to tenders and delivering client presentations
- Maintaining client relationships, including acting as a trusted advisor to CIO and senior technology leaders across our client base
- One or more certifications in relevant architecture domains are desirable, or proven real-world architecture experience in these areas:
- Enterprise architecture - (TOGAF preferred)
- Cloud architecture - (Azure and/or AWS)
- AI Architecture - (Copilot, OpenAI, Azure AI, RAG Architecture)
- One or more certifications that demonstrate experience in project management, operations and IT delivery are desirable, such as:
- Service Management (e.g. ITIL)
- Project Management (e.g. PRINCE2)
- Agile (e.g. PSM or CSM Scrum Master)
- One or more certifications that demonstrate application or technical specialisms are desirable, such as:
- IT Security (e.g. CISSP, CEH, CCSP)
- ERP Systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Sales Force or MS Dynamics certifications)
- Product or application specialisms (e.g. O365, SharePoint, CRM, Operational Technology)
- Extensive Solution Design, development, and delivery experience in diverse and complex environments
- Development of IT and/or digital strategies including production of technology roadmaps and AI strategies
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture modelling (including techniques such as UML) and experience in Enterprise Architecture tools such as LeanIX, OrbusInfinity or Ardoq
- Excellent client-facing skills, including experience working with C-Suite level managers on high-profile IT design or delivery projects
- You will have significant (5+ years) experience in at least one of the following sectors, with a deep understanding of both the technology landscape and market drivers in that sector:
- Health & Life Sciences (e.g. public and/or private health, pharmaceuticals)
- Banking & Capital Markets (e.g. fintech, investment banking, reinsurance)
- Local or Central Government (e.g. transport, education, welfare)
- Manufacturing & Retail (e.g. supply chain, operational technology, e-commerce)
