- An understanding of the National Curriculum for Science.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students of all abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular, constructive feedback.
- Develop and implement a challenging and creative science curriculum.
- Maintain a safe and well-organised classroom and laboratory environment.
- Collaborate with the science department team to share best practices and resources.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress.
- Participate in school-wide and departmental meetings and training sessions.
- Uphold the school's high expectations for student behaviour and achievement.
- Act as a positive and professional role model for all students.
