We are a high performing organization with a track record of success.Radiology is a busy department providing Xray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound services for the Emergency department, In-patients and Out-patients. We provide 24/7 diagnostic services to the hospital using high quality up-to-date equipment.Please note - This role is for a 0.4WTE post where the candidate will usually work 2 days per week. Candidates may work a combination of 7.5hour, 9.25hour or 5.75hour shifts dependant on departmental needs, including weekend working.Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will be required to carry out a variety of duties within the Radiology department to assist radiographers, nurses and radiologists during procedures as required. Working as part of a team is a necessity to ensure the day runs smoothly. They must be patient focussed and be able to advocate for the patients if/when required.They will also need to be able to deal with telephone enquiries from a variet of sources, prioritize their workload and work unsupervised when necessary.It is essential to have a good level of general education and basic understanding of IT.
