- Have a client engagement plan for your client base which will maximise sales opportunities, income and face to face interactions.
- Ensure your engagement plan is constantly reviewed to understand where opportunities have been missed to engage with, and strengthen, relationships with our clients.
- Develop strategies that create an exceptional client experience and outcome for your clients, so we are front of mind for any of their financial needs.
- Ensure that all client outcomes are underpinned by our consumer duty responsibilities - what is right for the client will result in the right business outcomes.
- Have in depth knowledge of Investec's proposition - our Private Client products, how we partner with Rathbones group as well as the wider group offering.
- Actively work with your team leader to develop and continuously review your client engagement plans to ensure we are meeting as many of our clients as possible.
- Actively compete in and drive growth of your book through sales campaigns.
- Collaborate and share best practice with our offshore banking teams (IBCI, IBSAG) and other on-shore core client groups.
- Have a thorough understanding of the regulatory and risk environment and what responsibilities you have in adhering to the right outcomes for the business, yourself and your clients.
- Ensure performance outcomes set out in your performance framework are met both on a quantitative and qualitative basis.
- Constantly review performance to find ways to improve commercial outcomes including contact strategies, pitching, asking for referrals, and converting opportunities into transactions.
- Continuous learning - work with your team leader to identify skills gaps and co-create development plans to close these.
- Data - ownership of your client data and use of CRM is a core aspect of this role. Use business insights to drive performance.
- Ensure you are up to date with market trends and economic factors that may create opportunities for sales and engagement with your clients.
