- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication reminders
- Prepare nutritious meals and help with light housekeeping tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Accompany clients to appointments or on outings when required
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being to the care coordinator
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
- Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Respond promptly and professionally to clients' needs and emergencies
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Genuine passion for caring for others and making a positive impact on their lives
- Availability to work alternative weekends, with flexibility for occasional additional shifts
- Valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Friendly, patient, and empathetic demeanour
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic understanding of elderly care and common age-related conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Reliability and punctuality in attending scheduled shifts
- Willingness to learn and adapt to clients' individual needs and preferences
- Residence within or commutable distance to BA1 and BA2 areas of Bath
